It was the full blown
tourist day – it started with a full Irish breakfast at O’Neills as I sat
writing out postcards. It was the first
recommended place that did not involve an animal and a color!
Saw the Book of Kells, visited Molly Malone, Dublin
Castle (used in the opening of the Tudors), re-visited the National Museum of
Ireland and found some souvenirs. The
pub hopping was to the Stag’s Head and Bar With No Name where drinks were courtesy
of a commercial scout from London.

Dinner was an indulgent
event at Fiorentina – the food, the Italian wine, the ambiance!! Drinks were at the famous Maureen’s Bar
before the show and I was introduced to Cork Dry Gin!
The Walworth Farce was not as shocking the
second time around but I still enjoyed it.
Plus being in the fifth row on the stall level gave a different perspective
on what it takes to put on this performance.
Especially when one got a nosebleed and no one broke character.

I again hoofed it to the
stage door and got the last signature to complete my Gleeson Trinity. Plus I got the money shot - a selfie with
both brothers…..any trepidation about asking for one was erased by their
cheerfulness to participate. Absolutely
LOVE that they didn’t pose but made faces with me instead!! (it has not been widely shared – don’t want
to end up in another tabloid. Heh, that
could be a goal – turn up in tabloids in random countries)
