Surrounding Waterfire...

There were many events and sights to see around Waterfire - RISD was having a festival and it was the end of Gaspee Days too. 

The living statues were absolutely fascinating!!

Waterfire...

Took a little journey to Rhode Island this past weekend. Spent time with family and got to experience Waterfire which has been on my "To Do" list since I lived in New England (the second time)!! 

Recovery...

Did we win the party?  I really have no idea....but I am proud to say that I made it to church after being up until almost sunrise.  "What part of me did you pray for?" *snicker*

The afternoon nap on the diving board dock was absolute heaven....

NJ Ren Faire!!

I headed South on Saturday and experienced the NJ Renaissance Faire for the first time. It is much smaller than my usual faire but it is full of heart!! No real lines for the food or bathroom was a bonus too.

The Day's End was a collection of the entire cast singing.  And as we left, they all lined the path to the gate and thanked us for coming.  It was like running the gauntlet of happy!!


Bonus - It was nice to see a few familiar faces from the NY Ren Faire!

I had a vision and was excited when I was able to make it a reality - croquet in one of the wide open spaces on the property!!  Fantastic BBQ afterwards that helped bring the weekend to a close.

And for the Heathers fans - "Did you have a brain tumor for breakfast? First you ask if you can be red, knowing that I'm always red."

Weekend Boom!

Tequila boom....a "logical" choice when NO driving will be involved for the rest of the weekend!  Side note - holey moley, I drank tequila again!!
