One of the main
reasons that I enjoy Christopher Moore’s books (besides the zany topics) is that
he just takes his story telling to another level.
In “A Dirty Job”,
they were trying to track down a girl and one character very surely announced
that the girl was a stripper.
When asked
why he was so sure, he replied:
“Yeah, and there's sort of a progression going
back to the fifties:
Bubbles, Boom
Boom, and Blaze
Begat Bambi, Candy, and Jewel
Who begat
Sunshine, Brandy, and Cinnamon
Who begat
Amber, Brittany, and Brie
Who begat
Reagan, Morgan, and Madison.
Madison is a
stripper name."
Yup, a whole
other level….
