It was not the beer talking...there was a rooster and a hen on the way to the Monastery!

He has been missing in action for a while....well, Pony was on sabbatical in Newport, RI!

Leaving On A Jet Plane...

In a few hours, I will be on a plane headed South.

It has been two years since I flew into this specific airport.

A whole lot has changed in those 730 days.


Definitely time to make some new memories!!!

Snowy Lunch....House 2....

The deer at our second snowstorm locale had a bit of a better selection of noms...

Oh Hai!

And it also attracted an 7 or 8 point buck....

Possibly more but we were not going to get closer to count!

In the middle of the snowstorm, we saw a hungry figure in the snowfall....


She's here....the Phantom....of the Snowstorm!!




Yes, we fed them Cheez-its...our deer food supply was a bit limited...





And they liked it!

October Snowstorm Aftermath....

And the next morning, Mother Nature gave us some sun....so we could properly see the damage...

Yeah, just plow around the downed tree...

The freak October snowstorm....It was bad but we were VERY lucky and did not lose power!

It was a chance discovery….several piles from the days of “Just toss it in the woods” ...

Not every bottle could come and live inside, so some mini outcroppings appeared in the yard….

Three Holidays...

On Friday:

I heard Christmas music at Bath & Body Works.

Earned for a Thanksgiving turkey at Shoprite.

Had a few Trick or Treaters since Halloween was rescheduled in my town.

Three holidays in the space of two hours....
