I re-watched all the Twilight movies this past weekend.  It’s been quite a while since I watched the first one - I used to have it on repeat!  They really did go above and beyond with its shout outs to the fans. 

The pain in New Moon, the conflict of Eclipse, the epic roller coaster of Breaking Dawn and the yumminess of Carlisle and his black Benz - I enjoyed all of it!!

Eclipse...

TGP was a trooper and bought tickets for a very late showing of Eclipse….and even if he was bored to tears, he did not show it!

I enjoyed the action sequences, I cheered for the wolves (puppy!!) and my heart broke for Jacob over and over again…almost as bad as I felt for him while reading the beginning of “Breaking Dawn”….

RPazz is still quite the little English bon-bon.....like that needed to be said…

Not really a fan with what they did with Jasper's hair....but it was neat to see the way that they did his backstory.

Carlisle can do no wrong.....but there no black Benz butt shot...boo! I want to see a mass of Cullen cars!!

And Jacob...the first time you see him, it’s a pure 50’s rebel moment…and they do joke about him not owning a shirt!!

Victoria is on-screen so little and has a massive wig so you really do not notice that it’s a different access.

Edward’s bed was a bit disappointing – it was written much more descriptively so I had a different mental image of it.

All in all, I did enjoy…definitely worth staying up past my bedtime for it!!!

New Moon Bunnies!!!

I think that this is better than the first one that the Bunnies recreated...and the bit at the end is so spot on with what REALLY happened in theatres!!

New Moon...

I knew that I would enjoy the next movie in the Twilight franchise, but they did such a great job with this one! Actually, it felt like a reunion with the characters.

Much better than the first movie - all the characters emote more and the CGI wolves are amazing!! Even when the first one skulked out of the woods, all full of growls and bared teeth, I could not resist saying “Puppy!!”

I loved the tattoo concept for the wolf pack, the Volturi were just menacing – all they had to do was sit there is stoney silence and the appearance of Carlisle’s car made me tear up just as it did in the book.

Oh, Jacob - I know that Taylor isn’t 18 yet, but HOT DAMN! The entire theatre erupted when he took off his shirt the first time. He worked hard to get that body - it is amazing....ah, to be young again....(he actually is more jacked than Edward)

I also walked out of the movie just wanting to hug Jacob – Taylor captured the pain that his character feels so well!!

And darling, darling Edward - how can you continue to look so dashing even as you break Bella's heart (and ours too?) Your tortured soul was shown so well…..

I can’t wait to see the movie again!

Back in 1918, the H1N1 virus strain had another name - the Spanish Influenza.

Yup, the very same illness Edward Cullen was dying of when Carlisle found him and turned him into a vampire.
